To advance the DoD biomedical research and development and animal health care missions through diagnostic, consultative and educational veterinary pathology services; to produce fully trained, specialty board-eligible, military veterinary pathologists; and to provide comprehensive research pathology and laboratory animal support for AFIP's collaborative research programs.
