Our Diagnosis:
Stomach biopsies: Malignant lymphoma, low-grade B-cell of MALT(mucosal associated
lymphoid tissue).
Comments:
Several sections show monotonous infiltration of small lymphoid cells often
with clear cytoplasm described as monocytoid B-cell type. Clusters of lymphoid
cells erode gastric glands in multiple sections (lymphoepithelial lesions).
The presence of polymorphs in the mucosa can make the interpretation of
lymphoepithelial lesions difficult as in this case.
