Contiguous disseminated

Clinical: small or large edematous indurated plaque that may ulcerate late.
Histology: widespread contiguous coagulation necrosis with AFB in panniculus and fascia.

Photographs show a six-year-old Ghanaian girl with disseminated edematous BU that has been widely excised, including breast tissue (top), and a nine-year-old Togolese girl with a similar lesion (bottom).
