The Institute's extensive research program includes 1649 presentations and lectures, 277 journal articles, 172 abstracts, 90 book chapters,18 books, 33 other publications and 255 collaborations. Programs include research in basic science, environmental pathology and toxicology, geographic and infectious disease pathology, oncology, molecular diagnostics, and forensic science. All approved protocols have military relevance and civilian applications.
